Breast Milk Jewelry?

Want a keepsake from your breastfeeding days? A mother in Texas figured out a way to preserve breastmilk in jewelry, and she’s turned it into a successful online business.  It only takes an ounce of breastmilk to make a pendant, ring or earrings.

Bridgette Boudreau thought of the idea after breastfeeding her son. She wanted a fond memory of that special period in her life, and she worked diligently on a formula for over a year that would preserve a mother’s milk in jewelry.

Boudreaux told FOX 26, touching her jewelry brings her peace, and she turned that into an online business. Women are contacting her on Facebook from around the world and ordering jewelry for that very reason.

If that doesn’t sound odd enough, Boudreaux also makes jewelry pieces from cremated ashes.
