Viola Davis Got Injured Filming Sex Scenes
Filming sex scenes can be painful.
Viola Davis is putting the breaks on getting hot and heavy on How To Get Away with Murder after she sustained an injury during a romp with co-star Billy Brown (Nate).
“I blew my back out,” the 50-year-old said on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning. “That was in the Billy Brown scene. He threw me up against a wall. All I can say is I was totally committed to the scene.”
But don’t think her character of Annalise Keating is heading for a monastery anytime soon, because Viola is prepared to steam things up again once she’s all healed up.
“I’m going to get back into it — I have to!” she continued. “It’s Shondaland! They’re gonna have me doing all kinds of stuff with all kinds of people.” She’s an equal opportunity lover.
Meanwhile in her real life, Viola enjoys a much more domesticated life with husband Julius Tennon. The pair have been married since 2003 and recently renewed their vows.
