With more and more couples snapping divorce selfies – pics with their ex to commemorate the end of their marriage – amicable splits appear to be on the rise.

So while  contentious divorces aren’t going away any time soon, here are five former couples who give us hope that two people can still like each other long after the love has gone. #DivorceSelfies

1. Keisha and Gil from New York have gone from husband and wife to “forever friends.”

3. Shannon and Chris Neuman from Canada helped the trend go viral last year, so you can say their split has been quite fruitful.

 

4. Despite ending their marriage, these two didn’t get lost in translation. “20 years together, 9 years dating, 4 as a married couple, 1 daughter, 8 years separated, today we divorced but are good friends … I love her very much.”

 

5. Fran Drescher and ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson were high school sweethearts and married in 1979. They split in 1999 after creating the hit show The Nanny together. Peter later come out as gay, but the two have remained best of friends. The duo went on to use their unique love story as the basis of the TV Land series Happily Divorced.
