William Shatner Slapped with $170 Million Paternity Suit

Beam me up, Daddy!

A man is claiming to be the illegitimate son of William Shatner and is suing the Star Trek star for $170 million.

Peter Sloan – who has since taken up the name Peter Shatner – is seeking $30 million in compensatory damages, $90 million in punitive damages and $50 million for pain and suffering.

Sloan claims the 85-year-old actor admitted to being his biological father back in 1984 after confronting the Hollywood icon on the set of the ABC series T.J. Hooker. But according to the lawsuit, Shatner had his reps follow up by stating he would deny the paternity.

Shatner has repeatedly denied being the man’s father.

Sloan – who was put up for adoption – believes Shatner had an affair with his birth mother back in 1956.

In his lawsuit, Sloan states he wants this settled by a trial by jury.

Shatner has yet to release any sort of statement.
