Future has dropped his countersuit against ex-fiancée Ciara after winning joint custody of their son.

After Ciara filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against her baby’s father for calling her a bad mother in the media, the rapper retaliated by countersuing her.

But since a judge recently denied Ciara’s plea for full custody of their two-year-old son Future Jr. and ruled the former couple must share joint custody, the rapper has asked the court to dismiss his lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Future doesn’t want to aggravate Ciara for fear she may restrict his visitation with his son.

Meanwhile, the “Goodies” songstress has not dropped her lawsuit against him.

Ciara and Future got engaged in 2013, but called it off just months after the birth of their son in May 2014.

Earlier this year, the 30-year-old R&B singer got engaged to NFL star Russell Wilson.
