Kristen Stewart Is ‘Really in Love’ with Her Girlfriend

Alert the Twihards! Kristen Stewart has publicly acknowledged her on-again, off-again relationship with girlfriend Alicia Cargile.
While they’ve been seen out together on various occasions, this is the first time the Snow White & the Huntsman actress has addressed her dating status since the ladies first got together.
“Right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend,” Stewart told Elle UK. “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.’ ”
Unless you were living under a rock you know the 26-year-old was previously in a high-profile opposite-sex relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
“When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn’t like it,” she continued. “We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not.’ I didn’t like that.”
But after getting caught kissing married director Rupert Sanders in 2012, she and Pattinson eventually broke up.
Stewart now appears to be happier than ever and Cargile has a lot to do with that.
“But then everything changed when I started dating a girl,” she continued. “I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”
