Pregnant Keshia Knight Pulliam Denies Cheating on Her Husband
Keshia Knight Pulliam says she was blindsided when her husband Ed Hartwell filed for divorce a week after announcing they were expecting a child.
Adding insult to injury, the former NFL star even requested she take a paternity test to verify if he was the father of the unborn child.
Now the former Cosby Show star is speaking out and claiming he was the one who was unfaithful during their six month marriage.
“Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave. It’s not OK,” Pulliam told Entertainment Tonight. “In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him. … Once I was pregnant I did decide to give him that one last chance.”
But Hartwell didn’t want another chance and instead filed for divorce.
The 37-year-old mom-to-be now says she has no interest in reconciling and is focusing on her pregnancy.
“There’s a baby in the middle of this!” she said emotionally. “And regardless, if we don’t want to be married, that’s fine, because we agree on that. But this baby is what’s important, and I feel like that’s being lost.”
