Mo’Nique wants the hate towards her husband Sidney Hicks to stop. Their open marriage wasn’t his idea as some people assume. On the “Sway in the Morning” radio show, Mo’Nique cleared the air about their marriage.
It wasn’t my husband’s idea. It was my idea 11 years ago.”
She explains she approached the idea when she rose to fame. She wanted to have her cake and eat it, too. She adds the two are best friends and tell each other everything. There are no secrets between them, and that includes telling each other about their sexual escapades.
