5 Wedding Movies That Send The Wrong Message

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson in Bride Wars

Judge Lynn often says to focus less on the wedding day and plan your future together instead, so these Hollywood movies not only send the wrong message when it comes to the big day, but they should also be filed under down right “terrible.”

Bride Wars

Two best friends turn into rivals when Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson’s characters schedule their weddings on the same day at the same location. The lengths these two go to ruin each other’s weddings is pretty despicable and the character’s behavior are worthy of the title, “bridezilla.”

The Wedding Ringer

Josh Gad hires Kevin Hart who runs a company for socially challenged grooms in need of a best man for his upcoming wedding in The Wedding Ringer. When you start off your marriage with a lie, those nuptials may be short-lived. The concept alone makes this comedy not funny.

27 Dresses

Katherine Heigl is always a bridesmaid and never a bride. That’s the concept behind 27 Dresses, and Heigl’s character desperately wonders if she’ll ever walk the down the aisle. Desperate women never make for a compelling story.

The Wedding Planner

Jennifer Lopez is a wedding planner falling in love with the groom Matthew McConaughey. Need we say more why this is a very bad idea not only in a movie, but in real life.

My Best Friend’s Wedding

Julia Roberts sets out to break up her best friend’s (Dermot Mulroney) wedding to his bride when she realizes she’s in love with him shortly after announcing his engagement. My Best Friend’s Wedding is a comedy but there’s nothing funny about this wedding crasher.
